A lunar occultation is the Moon passing in front of a planet or a star. It is visible only from a band of the Earth, and the timing changes from city to city. Each page here maps that band, draws the graze limit where the object skims the lunar edge, and lists the contact times for the cities that see it.

How these are made

The event list is chosen by hand; every time and line is then computed from the JPL DE431 ephemeris for the Moon's mean limb (±2 s against the real, mountainous limb). Each page links the JSON it was built from. Nothing here is copied from another prediction service.
